Wave Form Systems, Inc. completes acquisition of AKSM/GuildCompany expands into 15 additional statesBeaverton, Ore. — February 18, 2011 — Wave Form Systems, Inc., the Pacific Northwest's largest provider of mobile medical technology services, announced that it has completed its acquisition of the laser services subsidiary of AKSM, LTD previously known as AKSM/Guild. This Company, now a wholly owned subsidiary of Wave Form Systems, will be known as Wave Form Guild, Inc. "We are very excited about the acquisition of Guild and the substantial growth in the geographic footprint that Wave Form companies now serve", said Chuck Watkins, President and CEO of Wave Form Systems. "I am especially enthusiastic about the team of professionals joining us from Guild. They are some of the most highly trained, dedicated and service oriented clinical technicians in the industry. By combining their expertise with our infrastructure, we are building a world-class, nation-wide organization." Wave Form Guild will continue to operate in the same Midwest and Eastern states with the same clinical technicians that Guild customers have come to trust, according to John Mooney, Wave Form Systems' Vice President of Sales and Marketing. There are also plans to grow beyond Guild's current core business. "We are definitely going to expand both the depth and breadth of our service offering. The Guild territory and customer base provide a perfect platform from which to increase our geographic reach and introduce new technologies," said Mooney. "We have seen remarkable acceptance of the Cyber TmX in other markets and expect a similar reception in the Guild territory." The Cyber TmX is the newest 150 watt Thulium laser system from Quanta System SpA of Milan, Italy. Clinical operations for Guild will be managed by Sherrell Baker, a Registered Nurse with extensive educational credentials including a BSN and MBA. Ms. Baker has more than 18 years experience with all aspects of the Guild business, having held a variety of clinical, operational and educational positions.
